Public Relations Director

Gary won’t tell you that PR is an art. He doesn’t need to, because Gary is an artist in the art of public relations. With over 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications and 20 years of work in the automotive aftermarket, Gary leads our PR team, driving all PR-related initiatives for our clients.

Having worked as a journalist in radio news and as a magazine and newsletter editor, he provides clients with hands-on expertise on how to successfully work with the media.

He is a past president of the Automotive Communication Council (ACC) and in 2009 he received the prestigious Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award. Since 2008 he has served as the managing editor of Springs magazine, a quarterly publication of the Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI). He’s been a guest speaker at industry functions on green marketing and on social media for business. Gary has earned both the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations from the University of the Aftermarket at Northwood University. In the past, Gary was a regular contributor to Aftermarket Business World magazine and at SearchAutoParts.com.

When he is not drafting the latest product announcement or news release, he’s on the field, coaching his son’s soccer team.
