There is a saying that good design begins with good taste. Gerardo has been designing for Marx Group for over 10 years. Visually expressive by nature, his refined aesthetic and disciplined design eye has led him to create powerful campaigns with original visual messaging. Yet it is his consistency that distinguishes him above the rest. Like any pro, Gerardo makes dreaming up branding campaigns and crafting collateral design look effortless.
Gerardo’s career in design began in 1994 when he was hired as junior graphic designer at McCann Erickson. There, he hit the ground running, working with high-profile accounts such as MacDonalds, Coca-Cola, and Sony HBO. After moving to the U.S. in 1997, he was hired by e.Republic as a graphic designer and shortly thereafter promoted to creative director.
A 1994 graduate of the University of Guadalajara, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design and marketing.
Gerardo is a talented soccer player, having played all his life. When he isn’t expressing his creativity through visual channels, you can find him coaching soccer.
