Art Director / Copywriter
Mike’s first taste of creative success came when he won his 6th-grade class’s essay contest with a riveting piece on the life of a quarter. He’s been bringing interesting perspectives to seemingly ordinary assignments ever since. He began his career 25 years ago with award-winning work on a number of diverse accounts like the Georgia Lottery, Church’s Chicken, and Stanley Tools. Equally adept in video, print and digital media, Mike has a unique ability to dive into the material, strip out the fat, and tap into the essence of what needs to be communicated. Above all, he ensures that any creative work will support the client’s business goals.
He has worked in agencies on both coasts, and has taught courses at The Creative Circus and Miami Ad School. Statues on his award shelf include the Clio, London International Advertising Awards, and Addys. His work has been published in Archive magazine, Communication Arts, and Adweek. Today, he leads our creative teams in producing standout work that gets results for clients.
A graduate of Atlanta’s renowned Portfolio Center, Mike is also a Navy vet who served aboard nuclear submarines. He grew up going to the races every Friday night and now lives in Palm Springs, where he drives a Tiguan named Franz, “the perfect little desert car.”
